Student Council

The Student Council at The High School acts as a powerful voice in representing the feelings, opinions, and interests of our pupils. It is made up of representatives from every year group with elections taking place in form classes at the beginning of each academic year to determine who acts in these important roles.

The Student Council meets before school every second Wednesday to discuss pertinent issues which can then be raised at the termly meeting with management. The President of the Student Council is an observer at Board of Management meetings, allowing a pupil’s perspective to be brought to discussions. Information and updates from the Student Council are regularly posted on its noticeboard near the Senior Common Room.
